What You Can Expect

HiPPO Chinese New Year Light-Up Tour

Celebrate Chinese New Year in style! From February 1 to 14, the HiPPO Chinese New Year Light-Up Tour will depart nightly from the BIG BUS & DUCK Tourist Hub at Suntec City.

Hop on to the fun Big Bus open-top double-decker bus and cruise past iconic landmarks like the Esplanade, Marina Bay, Clifford Pier and Lau Pa Sat, before heading down to Chinatown for the light up. Take a breezy drive down South Bridge Road and Eu Tong Sen Street and capture the beauty of dazzling handmade lanterns and sculptures down South Bridge Road.

What's more, you can choose to end the tour at Chinatown and go for a spot of shopping at the Chinatown street bazaar. Expect to see traditional festive goodies, spring flowers, and ‘deng long’ (traditional paper lanterns). If shopping isn't your thing, you can stay on board and enjoy a breezy drive through past the National Gallery back to Suntec City but not before you take 3 auspicious loops around the Fountain of Wealth for good luck.

The Singapore Flyer

Board the Singapore Flyer for a scenic spin that takes you 165 metres above ground, or as high as 42 storeys. Step into one of the 28 fully air-conditioned glass capsules, and be transported on a 30-minute journey as you marvel at the spectacular scenery below.

Enveloped safely in a capsule 165m above ground level, you will be treated to a visual 360˚ feast of iconic and historical landmarks such as Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, and Empress Place.

Look towards the ocean and you’ll be greeted by the waves and waters that brought spices from ancient lands to Singapore – the cornerstone of our city’s modern prosperity. Catch glimpses of the neighbouring Indonesian Spice Islands and the Straits of Johor, Malaysia while watching the ships sail serenely by.

• Duration: Approximately 45 mins, depending on local traffic conditions

Singapore Flyer

• Daily flights: 8.30am – 10.30pm. The first flight is at 8.30am and the last flight is at 10.15pm. One rotation on Singapore Flyer is approximately 30 mins.

• Adults and children (2-12 years old) pay the same rate. Free entry for infants 0 - 24 months old
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking
• Wheelchair accessible on lower deck of HiPPObus
• Tour returns to departure point
• Strictly no refunds. We reserve the right to reschedule guests on a different tour slot if the HiPPO Christmas Orchard Light-Up Tour is fully booked or rescheduled due to weather conditions.

• You must first check-in at BIG BUS & DUCK Tourist Hub, Suntec City Convention Centre to exchange for your entry ticket to the Singapore Flyer.
